Moving
Movers who handle student flats. A single room or a five-bedroom house in Ilam or Riccarton — we scope it, price it and get it shifted.

Cleaning
End of tenancy cleaning, sorted. Cleaners who know exactly what landlords and property managers inspect for at handover, so you get your bond back without doing it yourself at 11pm.

Rubbish
Rubbish removal and furniture disposal across Christchurch. The couch nobody wants, the broken desk, the pile in the garage that came with the flat — we'll get it taken away.

Storage
Student storage over summer. Rather than hauling everything home for three months, we'll sort storage so it's waiting for you in February.

Who turns up
The people doing the work
Every contractor we use is a local Christchurch business on a signed agreement with us. We require them to carry their own insurance and show us the certificate before they take a job.
Your agreement is with FlatOut, not with them. So if something turns up broken or a job isn't up to scratch, you call us and we deal with it. You're not stuck chasing a contractor you've never met.
Whether you're moving out with your whole flat or just sorting your own stuff, FlatOut helps take the hassle out of move-out.
Be the flatmate who sorts it.
What it costs
What it costs
One price for the whole job. We come and look at what needs doing, give you an estimate on the spot, then send a written quote once we've locked it in with the people doing the work. You pay us, we pay them. The visit and the quote cost you nothing.
We don't put prices on the website, because a four-bedroom flat in Riccarton with a garage full of junk and a tidy one-bedroom aren't the same job. What moves the number: how many rooms, how much there actually is, which services you need, and how much notice you give us. Ask at the visit and we'll tell you straight.

Questions
Does it cost me anything?
The visit and the quote are free. The work itself you pay for — one price covering everything, paid to us rather than to four separate businesses. Nothing is charged until you've accepted a quote.
Who actually does the work?
Local Christchurch businesses we've contracted and checked. Your agreement is with us — we scope the job, quote it and manage the people doing it, so if something goes wrong you come to us.
Can I organise it for my whole flat?
Yes, and most people do. One person fills in the form for everyone. You can also use it just for your own stuff.
What areas do you cover?
Christchurch, with most of our work around Ilam, Riccarton, Upper Riccarton, Addington and the surrounding student suburbs.
How soon will I hear back?
We typically respond within the same day, and no later than the end of the following day.
What if I only need one thing?
That's fine. Plenty of people just need a cleaner, or just need a couch gone. Tick one box and that's all you'll hear about.
